چکیده
This paper investigates the effect of changes in environment on performance two widely-used virtual sensing methods for active noise control (ANC): remote-microphone method and additional-filter method. Robust adaptive feedforward algorithms incorporating such techniques is essential to achieving attenuation at designated locations practice, when subject uncertainties environment. Off-line simulations using data measured with a headrest ANC system running car are initially conducted, evaluate under practical conditions. The differences between further studied by an analytical model numerical system. It shown that general sensitive properties reference signals used control, whereas plant responses related monitoring microphones. study, therefore, can be guide choice different applications.

A Review of Virtual Sensing Algorithms for Active Noise Control
Traditional local active noise control systems minimise the measured acoustic pressure to generate a zone of quiet at the physical error sensor location. The resulting zone of quiet is generally limited in size and this requires the physical error sensor be placed at the desired location of attenuation, which is often inconvenient. To overcome this, a number of virtual sensing algorithms have b...
متن کاملVirtual sensors for active noise control in acoustic-structural coupled enclosures using structural sensing: robust virtual sensor design.
The work was aimed to develop a robust virtual sensing design methodology for sensing and active control applications of vibro-acoustic systems. The proposed virtual sensor was designed to estimate a broadband acoustic interior sound pressure using structural sensors, with robustness against certain dynamic uncertainties occurring in an acoustic-structural coupled enclosure. A convex combinatio...
متن کاملA High Performance Feedback Active Noise Control System
In many active noise control (ANC) applications, an online secondary path modelling method that uses a white noise as a training signal is required. This paper proposes a new feedback ANC system. Here we modified both the FxLMS and the VSS-LMS algorithms to raised noise attenuation and modelling accuracy for the overall system. The proposed algorithm stops injection of the white noise at the op...

متن کاملActive noise control at a moving virtual microphone using the SOTDF moving virtual sensing method
Traditional local active noise control systems minimise the measured acoustic sound pressure to generate a zone of quiet at a physical error sensor. The resulting zone of quiet is generally limited in size and as such, placement of a physical error sensor at the location of desired attenuation is required, which is often inconvenient. Virtual acoustic sensors can be used to project the zone of ...
